I have a lot of reasons for liking Hawaii Five-0*, but the fact that they have the budget to film things like a fucking midair skydiving recuse of an unconscious man (!!) certainly doesn’t hurt.
*Mainly the racial/gender/sexual representations, which, for prime time on network television, tend to be pretty on point (expect to hear more about this soon). I also like that it’s a cop show that kind of hates cops. I could do without the hints of nationalism though.

FAY! No one else ever remembers Fay, whose skits were apparently a segment on Sesame Street, but we had her Christmas special and watched it every year. As you might imagine, it was a very funny Christmas special.
In case you don’t follow my twitter and thus are yet unconvinced that Veronica Mars is the best show, see exhibit A above. Exhibit B is the fact that JTT is the second Home Improvement son to guest star on the show.

Picture this: me, Christina Hendricks, the tall white guy from Hawaii Five-0, and possibly some French girl are a squad of flying police officer-types who patrol a very shiny version of mid-town Manhattan. Also we go to each others’ baseball games in Queens, and support each other through family drama.
Best dream ever, or best pilot ever? I should mention that we don’t have flying cars or anything, our bodies are just capable of flight. Also we fly in formation. Brb registering this with the WGA.

Supercut of the Day: Seeing as Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, and they run a site about TV, and kissing is really awesome, the fine folks at TV Squad thought it only right to put together a montage of TV’s more memorable kissing scenes.

THIS SHOW. Killing it, every week. And I might be biased in favor of Halloween episodes, but this also might be the best thing they’ve ever done. Streets ahead of last year’s Halloween episode, which was pretty great:
