I feel the need to dissect it by tumblr post.
She, my witch coven sister Anna/bagofshit, sent me a letter, a Diarrhea Planet shirt:
3 copies of the same Evil Weevil tape (?) [note: I think this happened because Evan was like, take some and give them to your friends, and I was like I don’t have a tape player or friends who know from DP, but I bet Aria does][or something?], iron supplements,
and a billion lipsticks (aided in this by other coven sister, Emily/pussy-strut) with a lipstick guide. The rest of this post is me taking pictures of myself with all the different lipsticks on with what she wrote about the lipsticks underneath and my thoughts on said lipstick, because The Internet.
“Fuchsia Fever” by Maybelline Because if you like to wear lipstick, someday you’re going to need the brightest, purest shade of bubblegum pink you can find. Fuchsia fever is that bubblegum pink. It’s like if ’90s pop music was a color, it would be the color of this lipstick.
Basically I’ve been looking for this shade of lipstick forever but everything ends up being too coral or too hot and not…. THIS
“Rose Hip” by Milani A little darker than Fuchsia Fever, but no less neon. I love this brand of lipstick, and this one wears great. Every time I wear it I feel like a ’60s MILF at the beach, although that could be because the first time I wore it I was also wearing a leopard bikini.
“Siren,” “Spellbound,” and “Eternal” by Covergirl This run of pinks are the first lipsticks I got when Olivia (sweater-meat) first inspired me to really make lipstick happen in my life, and pink lipstick at that (she is a fan of “Enchantress” by Covergirl, which is lighter and sparklier than Fuchsia Fever) (metal as fuck). I also really really like this lipstick brand - I think it’s Covergirl’s Lipstick Perfection line? Whatever I’m not really sure how that works. Anyway, “Siren” is a brighter, sparkly shade, “Spellbound” looks like an Easter egg, and “Eternal” is a dark pink just this side of red. “Eternal” is probably one of my favorite lipsticks OF ALL TIME, but they all have their use.
I like the way these wear/taste (lipstick tastes perfumey, and I hate that, but these are nice) and that they’re all glittery but Eternal is definitely an A+ shade for me especially.
“Ruby Star” by Maybelline Because I would be remiss to send you a lipstick starter pack without at least one red. I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a solid red, but this one is pretty much my go-to. It’s not too bright, and it’s sparkly, which adds a little oomph to the classic lipstick shade.
I love red lipstick more than a normal person should probably love red lipstick (which means it’s really great that you sent me so much pink, because I have very little) and this is cool because of the little hint of sparkly and the pinkish tone. It can’t beat my favorite red, which I jacked from my old roommate who doesn’t wear red lipstick. I don’t know what shade it is but it’s Revlon and it’s matte and it is just so…. so good.
“Black Cherry” by Revlon This is one of my favorite of what I think of as “Morticia Addams” shades. It’s just great.
Brad and I plan on being Morticia and Gomez for Halloween so this will come in handy. Also, I am obsessed with dark lipsticks because I think they look especially striking next to my light blue/lavender hair.
“Vamp It Up” by Wet ‘n’ Wild This is easily the best deep purple shade I’ve found. The others tend to be more glossy, but this one really gets the point across. I love wearing it on public transportation and being ignored by everyone else on the bus.
BESSSST. I love how the dark Wet ‘n’ Wild shades are matte, super intense, and like $1 or $2 at most.
“Bronze Leaf” by Milani This is the only shade I’ve included that I don’t also own, but I feel like bronze lipstick is never a bad thing, especially in the summer. Also, as I’ve said before, I love Milani - I’ve only ever found it at one drugstore, bu thte colors are bold and it wears really comfortably. Actually, I went out and found myself a tube of this and it’s great! I think it’s the perfect shade of bronze for how I like to wear lipstick, but you might want more of a lighter gold or darker copper, but I think this is a good starting point!
I have some gold lipstick and I don’t actually like it but I like this. I think I was wanting for some more copper in it.

So glad I finally sent Aria that package/she enjoyed it (sorry again for taking so long). As you can see, I have a lot of feelings about friends and lipsticks, ALL OF THEM GOOD.
